Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Go Kiwi Tours respects the privacy of our customers and website visitors. This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, shared and accessed in connection with our website, enquiries and transportation bookings, in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

01Information we may collect

Depending on your enquiry or booking, this may include:

  • Your name, email address and telephone number
  • Pickup and drop-off locations
  • Travel dates, times and passenger numbers
  • Itinerary, booking, luggage and travel requirements
  • Payment or transaction details needed to administer a booking
  • Information you choose to share when contacting us
  • Basic website usage information

We only collect information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

02How we use information

  • Responding to enquiries and preparing quotes
  • Arranging and managing transportation bookings
  • Communicating confirmations, changes and disruptions
  • Administering payments
  • Responding to complaints and requests
  • Keeping business records and meeting legal obligations
  • Improving our website and services

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.

03Sharing information

We share information only where reasonably necessary with service providers that help us run our website and deliver your requested service — for example our website hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and Stripe, which processes online card payments. Card details entered at checkout are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Go Kiwi Tours.

Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law.

04Marketing

We will only send marketing messages where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe option or contacting us. Opting out does not stop essential messages about an existing booking.

05Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary, subject to legal, accounting, operational and dispute-resolution requirements.

06Access and correction

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete. Requests are handled under the Privacy Act 2020, and we may need to verify your identity.

07Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use cookies or similar browser storage needed for it to work (for example remembering an open chat conversation on your device) and may record basic, aggregated visit statistics. We do not sell personal information.

08Overseas disclosure

Some of our technology and payment providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is protected in a way comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.

09Privacy questions and complaints

Contact us using the details below to ask a privacy question, request access or correction, or raise a concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
