• Geothermal areas have hot, uneven ground — stay on marked paths. Geyser activity is natural and never guaranteed.
• Expect several kilometres of walking on gravel paths.
• Driving times are estimates and change with traffic, roadworks, weather and road closures. Itineraries are planned within New Zealand driver work-time limits, with rest breaks.
• Tell us about mobility needs, child seats or luggage when you enquire so we can confirm a suitable vehicle.
